ABOUT — COORIE IN COACHING

A Warm Welcome
I’m Charlotte — a parent, a primary teacher, a family life coach, and someone who believes deeply in creating calm, cosy spaces where children and teens can feel safe enough to grow.
Coorie In Coaching was born from years of watching young people struggle with big feelings, sensory overload, school pressures, and the weight of trying to fit into systems not designed for them. I wanted to create a place where they could breathe out. A place where they could be fully themselves.

My Approach
My work is gentle, creative, and relationship‑led. I meet every child exactly where they are — with patience, curiosity, and care.
I use:
• visual supports
• creative tools
• sensory‑safe approaches
• calm, predictable routines
• neuroaffirming language and practice
My goal is always the same: to help young people feel understood, capable, and connected.
My Experience
I’ve spent over 20 years working with children and families across education, ASN, and wellbeing.
This includes:
• primary teaching
• nurture and wellbeing support
• trauma‑informed practice
• creative and therapeutic approaches
• coaching for parents and young people
This blend of experience means I understand the whole picture — home, school, emotions, relationships, and the nervous system.
A Space That Feels Safe
Whether we meet in person in West Fife or online, my priority is creating a space where young people feel held, respected, and free to be themselves.
My Values
These guide everything I do:
• Calm — creating a gentle, predictable environment
• Connection — building trust before anything else
• Curiosity — understanding the “why” beneath behaviour
• Inclusion — celebrating neurodiversity and individuality
• Creativity — using tools that feel safe, expressive, and fun
Why I Do This Work
I believe every child deserves a place where they feel safe, seen, and supported.
A place where their voice matters.
A place where they can grow at their own pace.
Coorie In means “to snuggle in, to feel safe, to rest”.
That’s the heart of this work — offering families a soft landing when things feel hard.
A Gentle Invitation
If you’re unsure where to begin, we start with a simple conversation.
You share what’s going on.
I listen.
Together, we find the right next step.
